Clear Display Bags for greetings cards

Present your finished cards professionally and avoid damage caused 'by dirty fingers' at point of sale, with these good quality very clear, unprinted Bio-film bags.

Available in a range of sizes to match our card blanks correctly and with minimal waste. All bags are 30mic thick & have a fold over flap. This can be sealed down with one of our self adhesive labels, or new clear biodegradable sealers.

Although Standard Polyprop will eventually bio-degrade (but only very slowly we're informed!) To be really green don't miss our new BIODEGRADEABLE CLEAR BAGS. Currently available in our popular sizes, more to follow. Made from corn starch (annually renewable) these are fully biodegradable and compostable, breaking down to CO2 and H2O. (at a constant 58 deg.C it takes approx 45 days to decompose.) They offer a greener alternative to polypropylene.

STORAGE: avoid excessive heat, moisture and light to maximise shelf life. In normal conditions they are quite stable - they may well take years to start degrading. (Our supplier has kept some of the first batch they made from about three years ago and they are still OK. Until they start to degrade we don't have a definitive time scale.)
The main thing to avoid is prolonged exposure to humidity.

PERFORANCE: In general use you should find they perform equally as well as polyprop, however they are slightly more 'brittle' than polyprop and therefore can show creases if treated roughly. Because of the nature of this 'natural' material they can also have the occasional tiny flecks in - although usually they don't show in normal use.
