We want to showcase the best of the UK's environmentally friendly websites and resources so that our customers can keep up to date with the latest environmental issues.
We are very excited to announce something we have bean working on for a while now. We now stock two new brewtiful papers made from recycled coffee cups.
To give people a taster we have put together a sample pack, postage free, and we hope you give it a shot.
Keep an eye on the website over the following weeks as we have a latte of new products coming soon...
We are proud to announce that we have been accepted by the Sustainable Restaurant Association as an SRA Food Made Good Approved Supplier. Recognising the sustainable and environmental credentials of our Recycled Menu papers and card products which have proved so popular since launching them just over a year ago. Some of you may already have noticed the new SRA Food Made Good labels on recent deliveries.
The SRA audit covers commitment to sustainability for both products and overall business practice - assessing ethical, environmental and social responsibility, supply chain, waste management, energy and water efficiency. Achieving such high standards would not have been possible without the outstanding commitment from all our staff and the help of all our green suppliers. To all of them – a big thank you!
Building on this we have several new environmental initiatives in the pipeline to keep on improving our overall sustainability rating. We also have a host of new recycled and biodegradable products due for release shortly. Keep an eye out for our launch newsletter due out soon.

Today see's the start of The World Student Environmental Network (WSEN) ninth annual Summit at Keele University and the University of Sussex. Held from 25th and 30th of July, this years theme is "Sustainability Together".
Earlier in the year we were approached to see if we could help to sponsor the event by providing some notepads for the delegates to use at the conference. The Summit is entirely student organised and provides delegates the opportunity to learn, share and experience lectures, workshops, presentations and activities around the topics of environment, sustainability and cooperation. In order to ensure equal participation, WSEN provide attendance, food and accommodation for the conference free of cost to the Student delegates, (particularly those from developing countries).
We were therefore happy to contribute, and by so, help to inspire a more sustainable future through the next generation of ethically and
environmentally aware students.
However we didn't just want to send out any old pads. We wanted to make sure that they would be as green as possible. The paper used was our 100% recycled white stock which came from re-using left over ruled print waste from a bespoke making. Thereby avoiding any additional environmental impact in the printing. These sheets were then bound to the 100% recycled green coloured card covers, printed with the WSEN2016 logo full on the front.
Hopefully this small contribution will help in some small way to sow the seeds for a greener future. We wish the students all the very best at the conference and for the future.

Recently we were asked by Ruth Rollason, who is studying a Fine Art Masters Degree at The University of Creative Arts Canterbury, if we could help with an installation she was creating for this years Whitstable Biennale - a bi yearly art event on the Kent coast.
Created on the West Beach Whitstable the installation encouraged the public to handwrite onto our biodegradable film bags using sharpie pens. These were then tied to 'string' on festival poles similar to Tibetan Prayer flags. Designed to reflect the idea that handwriting can embellish our lives where technology can't. The installation by the sea explored disappearing words and the lack of permanence and change they cause.
The installation was viewed as a great success. We were glad to be able to help out with some of our biodegradable (and compostable) bags from our slight seconds bin to ensure any that should escape would not cause damage the local environment. We love the photos - we hope you do too.
Well done Ruth.
