Bio-based film is a natural, compostable alternative to polypropylene or PVC, but it behaves differently in use. While it looks similar, it’s less tolerant of rough handling. To get the best results, store compostable bags in a cool, dry place and avoid high heat or humidity. This helps maintain appearance and extends shelf life. If splashed with water, the labels won’t degrade immediately - just wipe them dry promptly to avoid damage.
