12mm on 18mm High Tac fingerlift tape 50m

Currently the double sided and fingerlift tapes we supply are a standard siliconized white kraft paper with a hi tac acrylic adhesive.

Going forward we are looking to replace this with a compostable biotac adhesive on a recyclable / compostable release tape.

However, these are still in the development stages, so are unlikely to be available in the short term.

Adhesive:

The adhesive used on the labels is an acrylic based glue which is free from any animal products including Gelatine.

Release tape:

The release tape is made from white kraft paper with a silicon release coating. It is possible to recycle siliconized paper and recover the silicon commercially, but that largely depends on where you are. Therefore, because it is not normally collected separately in local council collections, we do not feel that it can be considered to be 'easily recyclable' and so we do not promote it as recyclable in the product information.

Release Tape Disposal:

The normal method for disposal will be the household waste bin, however the paper recycling system is fairly forgiving so should small quantities of backing papers be added to the paper recycling bin in error, it won't contaminate the recycling process.

Used Adhesive Disposal:

Cardboard waste with small quantities of self-adhesive or packaging tape stuck onto it can go into the normal card and paper recycling bin.

However, for self-adhesive tape stuck onto other materials after use (mixed waste), the normal method for disposal will be the household waste bin.

Please note:As with all paper-based products, slight variations in colour, texture, or adhesive strength may occur between batches. These differences are normal and do not affect the overall performance of the tape.

Store paper tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or high humidity to maintain adhesive quality. Keep the roll in its original packaging or a closed container to prevent dust and dirt from affecting the stickiness. Avoid exposure to moisture before use, as it can weaken the adhesive. For best results, use within 12 months of purchase.
